ways to pass the time in your college lecture🤌💋

We all do it. So don’t try to act like you listen to the entire lecture and hang on every word. Sometimes you just need a little entertainment to keep awake.

These are a few of my tried and true things to do while i’m supposed to be paying attention. And if we really want to get crazy I would argue by doing these things you’re still practicing active listening so technically by doing these things you are being a very studious student.

1. Pinterest: my favorite social media, I could spend hours scrolling and pinning and making boards its a way less harsh social media and usually helps you create your dream live or get inspo for things, also maybe even motivates you to do certain things. like studying for example.

2. Notion: I love my notion account its so fun to organize and make new sections for it. this is still staying on the school side of things, so making notes folders, class study schedules, and planning your day is all really helpful and productive

3. Sims 4: this one is just plain entertainment and mind numbing. If your professor just has the worst monotone voice this game is very helpful in combating that.

... Read moreIn today's fast-paced college environment, students often find themselves struggling to maintain focus during lectures. However, there are several entertaining yet productive activities that can help pass the time while still keeping your mind engaged. 1. **Pinterest**: An excellent platform for inspiration, Pinterest allows students to create boards and save ideas related to fashion, study schedules, and even travel plans. By pinning images and ideas, students can spark creativity, which may even translate into better study habits. 2. **Notion**: As a powerful organizational tool, Notion helps students manage their schedules, take notes, and keep detailed records of their coursework. Utilizing this platform during lectures not only keeps you entertained but also ensures you're staying on top of your assignments. 3. **The Sims 4**: A more lighthearted option, playing The Sims 4 offers a fun distraction. It's a perfect way to escape a dull lecture and engage in a captivating virtual world. The game allows you to practice strategic thinking and creativity, which can indirectly enhance your learning abilities. Ultimately, while it’s important to remain engaged in lectures, embracing these creative distractions can enhance your overall learning experience while allowing you to enjoy your time in college.
