Fun fact: summer camp is my favorite place

Apparently there are camp children who know what I do outside of summer camp. They were telling other staff about my social presence and bird painting chaos. While I never found the source of this leak I figured I might as well give you the opportunity to show yourself.

One of the biggest reasons I chose to continue going to camp after I was a camper was because of the way I was shamelessly encouraged to truly be myself by the staff. I was in many folks eyes a “difficult” child. I have always been painfully smart and aware of that fact. I wasn’t always good at being humble and kind along side that brain power. The way a select few staff members at camp chose to encourage and direct that ability rather than just tell me to behave has been an invaluable part of my journey.

It is my goal as an elder staff member to continue carrying that energy for today’s campers.

So if you were the ones talking about me, and happen to be on your own creative ventures…SHOW YOURSELF so I can promote your creative excellence please and thank you.

Summer sleepover movies 🌸🦩🫧🌿
1. Adventureland, 2009 ⭐️ 6.8/10 – Hey guess what? This is a good movie. It's hard to tackle the 'coming of age' genre cause it's been beaten to death. But this one is worth viewing, not because the story is original.. it's not. But rather because of wonderful performances by

My first state 4-H Camp!
I’ve been involved in 4-H ever since I was little. Unfortunately, my club disbanded when I was in elementary/middle school, and I never found another club I meshed with. Because of this, it was hard for me to be as involved in 4-H. I was still able to go to my county camp every year. At county cam
