Nutrition-wise, I focused on whole, nutrient-dense foods and avoided fad diets that promised rapid results but were unsustainable. The mindset shift was just as important. I had to change my perspective on food and self-care, understanding that setbacks are normal and not a reason to quit. Having a support system—whether friends, family, or online communities—also helped keep me accountable and inspired. The phrase 'I'm half the man I used to be! -100 lbs' really captures how weight loss can be a proud achievement that changes your identity for the better.
