Le Petit Paris is an absolute gem for authentic French crêpes in Ottawa.

Tucked away in Kanata, this charming spot is easy to miss—but trust me, it’s well worth the search. The owner, originally from France, brought her passion for traditional crêpes across the ocean when she moved here to be with her husband—a true love story that adds even more warmth to this already delightful place.

Every crêpe is handmade with care, and you can genuinely taste the heart and heritage in each bite. It’s like a little piece of Paris nestled in the city. Prices are very reasonable, ranging from just $7 to $12. My personal favourite is the “La Pralinée”—a classic that the owner told me is one of the original crêpes beloved by locals in Paris.

This has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and I’m so happy to support such a passionate and kind family. The owner and her loved ones are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and their hospitality makes the experience even more special.
