It’s never about the story people create themselves about who you are. It’s always about who you know you are…

6/18 Edited to

... Read moreFor many years, people often misunderstood my passion for makeup artistry, dismissing it as just a hobby rather than recognizing it as my true profession and calling. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about identity and self-belief: It's essential to define who you are on your own terms, not based on what others think or say about you. This journey has helped me develop a strong sense of self-awareness and confidence. Embracing my makeup artistry skills and seeing them as a valid and important part of my life empowered me to push past external doubts and stereotypes. From my experience, I encourage others to resist the temptation to accept labels imposed by others. Instead, take time to reflect on your passions and values, allowing your genuine identity to be your guide. Doing so can open opportunities for growth, creativity, and fulfillment that might otherwise be overlooked. It’s also helpful to connect with communities or platforms that support your interests, as this can reinforce your commitment and provide encouragement. For example, many makeup artists share their work and stories online, breaking misconceptions and inspiring others to honor their true selves. Remember, the story you know about yourself matters the most because it shapes your confidence and guides your path forward. When you nurture and stand firm in your true identity, you create space for authentic success and happiness in any area of life.
