I PASSED THE NCLEX-PN
I passed the NCLEX-PN in 85 questions.. it was scary. It was nerve wracking. I have high anxiety, I’m also very negative, and very hard on myself. But it was done and can be done!!
I used Mark K lectures on Spotify and used the lecture notes. I revisited everything I was unsure of. I rewrote everything I heard that would help me remember while I was testing! I tried the online practice tests but those were discouraging to me and made me more anxious. Mark K was pretty calming and he was incredibly helpful.
For those preparing to take the NCLEX whether it’s RN or LPN.. just remember to breathe and TRY to stay calm. Easier said than done but remain calm! Do NOT go into it saying you’re going to fail. Go in positive saying “I’m going to give it my best, I’m going to answer the questions to the best of my knowledge and if I don’t know it, oh well. I can take the test again IF it comes to it. But it wont”
If your test cuts off at 85 questions, it doesn’t mean you failed!! It also may not mean you passed but the test is done at this point and you can’t do anything about it, THATS OKAY!! Just remain calm and remain positive! The worst that can happen is you failed and you take it again. If you get more than 85 questions, that is okay too!! Just because some people pass in 85 does not mean you have to! Is it a good feeling to be able to say “I passed in 85” yes! But does it matter? NO! While I was taking the test I was not worried about the amount of questions, I was worried about time. My anxiety eats me alive. I try to read the questions and reread the questions then reread the answers. So I take an absurd amount of time testing. But that is also okay! Just take your time, don’t overthink, and just do your best! I wish someone would’ve told me all these things before hand (except my best friend who is tough as nails was anything but gentle with me and said everything I needed just a little more rough around the edges, thank god for her). #nclex #nclexprep #nclexpn #nclextipoftheday #markklimek
