You don't rise by chance, you rise with structure

Last week we took the kids to Disney on Ice, and as a huge Disney fan…I think I was even more excited than they were 🥹✨

When my daughter was just 6 months old, she had hip surgery and was in a cast from her armpits to her ankles for three months.

To help her sleep, I would dance around the house with her in my arms to “Trip a Little Light Fantastic.”

My son would dance alongside us laughing the whole time. It's actually a memory I cherish.

So when Disney on Ice opened with Mary Poppins flying in, it stopped me in my tracks. For one I love the song and secondly it made me think of something genius!

Because from the audience, it looks like she’s floating in on her own. But what we don’t see is the entire support system behind the scenes, the rigging, the ropes, the people making sure she’s guided, secure, and doesn’t fall.

That’s exactly how the business I’m building works.

I didn’t create everything from scratch. I plugged into a done-for-you system made for Canadians, with training, mentorship, and support already in place.

It operates as T4A income, which mattered to me, and it allows me to focus on showing up, not figuring everything out alone.

Freedom doesn’t come from doing it all yourself.

It comes from having the right support behind you.

If this resonated, comment “SUPPORT” or send me a DM ✨

You’re not meant to do this alone.

1/19 Edited to

... Read moreWatching Mary Poppins seemingly fly alone in Disney on Ice reminded me a lot about the importance of unseen support systems in real life—especially in business. It’s incredible how much goes on behind the scenes that the audience never sees. Similarly, when building a business, especially as a working mom or side hustler, having a strong foundation and support can make all the difference. In my own journey, I realized that trying to do everything solo was overwhelming and often led to burnout. Instead, plugging into a system designed for people like me—a Canadian entrepreneur looking for flexible, efficient ways to earn T4A income—gave me the structure I needed. With mentorship, training, and a community supporting me, I could focus on my strengths and consistently show up without the stress of figuring it all out alone. This kind of structured support doesn’t just help practical aspects like marketing or sales; it nurtures confidence. Knowing someone has your back reassures you to take calculated risks and keep moving forward. It also enables better work-life balance because you’re not spending hours troubleshooting or reinventing the wheel. If you’re embarking on a new venture or trying to scale your side hustle, ask yourself: what invisible rigging supports my growth? Is it a mentor, a system, or a community? Start seeking out resources and networks that provide that behind-the-scenes guidance. The freedom and growth you desire come from that structure—just like Mary Poppins soared on stage, supported and secure.

Most people think freedom means doing everything yourself. The truth? It comes from having the right support behind you. If this made you curious, comment “SUPPORT” or send me a DM
