Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Don’t waste your money on premade Alfredo sauce any longer… You can make it at home with a simple few ingredients. And it’s MUCH easier than you might think! And way more flavorful too. Your family will love it!😊

Ingredients:

•1/2 cup butter (I use Kirklands salted grassfed butter)

• 1 pint heavy whipping cream

• 4 large garlic cloves

• freshly grated Parmesan cheese (about 5oz? I used a classic Sartori Parmesan wedge from HEB)

• about 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

• salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1.) in a saucepan over low-medium heat, place your butter and heat until melted

2.) mince your garlic and add to the melted butter, stir and let it cook for about 2 minutes or until garlic become fragrant (keep heat at a low medium, as we don’t want to burn the butter or the garlic)

3.) add your pint of heavy whipping cream to the butter and garlic, and stir until combined, continue simmering for about 5-6 minutes until bubbles begin to form. You’ll notice your mixture becoming less liquidy, and a little thicker as you mix

4.) add your Italian seasoning, and your salt and pepper to your preferred taste, and combine

5.) slowly add your freshly grated Parmesan and continue mixing on low-medium heat until the cheese is melted completely. You’ll notice your sauce will get thicker and thicker as you continue.

6.) serve immediately over whatever pasta you prefer, or use the Alfredo as a delicious dipping sauce!

Hope you all enjoy!!
