FRIED BISCUITS ANYONE?

Y’all… don’t sleep on canned biscuits!! I cut mine in halves (you can go even smaller for bite-sized pieces), dropped them in hot grease, and fried them until they got all fluffy, golden, and crispy on the outside 🧡

Then I finished them off with powdered sugar, but listen… honey butter + cinnamon would take these OVER THE TOP 🤤

They give donut vibes, but easier, cheaper, and still homemade-feeling 🙌🏽 Perfect for a quick sweet treat, breakfast, or when you just want something warm and comforting.

Definitely adding this to my “lazy but cute” recipes 😂💕#lemon8challenge #lemon8badgehunt #lemon8recipes

I’ve tried this method numerous times, and it’s incredible how simple it is to create a warm, crispy snack that tastes almost like a donut but without the hassle of making dough from scratch. One tip I’ve discovered is to keep the oil temperature around 350°F to ensure the biscuits cook evenly without absorbing too much grease. Another fun twist is to experiment with different toppings. While powdered sugar adds a nice sweetness, a mixture of honey butter with a dash of cinnamon elevates the flavor to a whole new level. I also enjoy dipping mine in a little bit of fruit jam or even drizzling maple syrup on top for a decadent finish. For those looking for bite-sized options, cutting the biscuits even smaller creates perfect finger foods for parties or a quick snack on the go. The crunchy exterior combined with the fluffy interior is always a crowd-pleaser. Plus, using canned biscuits means you can whip these up anytime without much prep work - ideal for busy mornings or last-minute cravings. Overall, fried canned biscuits deliver on the texture and taste you want from a sweet treat without the complexity, making them a go-to in my 'lazy but cute' recipe collection. Give it a try; it might just become your new favorite comfort food!
