When are my gains gonna come 🙏 pls
Sticking with a fitness routine for several years without seeing the expected physical results can be incredibly discouraging. I’ve been there too—wondering when my gains will finally materialize. Many of us start gyms with high hopes of quickly achieving rock-solid abs, a perfect posture, or that ‘perfect’ physique that others seem to flaunt effortlessly. However, fitness is often more complex than just showing results on the outside. From my experience and what I’ve learned talking to others, gains in the gym aren’t always linear or visible immediately, especially in areas like abs and posture. Factors like genetics, workout consistency, nutrition, and recovery play crucial roles. For example, abs might be hiding under body fat, which means that diet and overall fat loss become critical before muscle definition shows. Similarly, fixing posture and a bent back can require focused corrective exercises, sometimes along with professional guidance. Another big takeaway from my years of gymming is that mental endurance matters just as much as physical effort. The humor around feeling like you should have a luxury car or cosmetic surgery rumors by now is a fun way to cope with these frustrations, but it also reminds us not to measure our progress against others or unrealistic expectations. My advice? Reassess your goals with a focus on health improvements rather than just appearance. Try tracking functional strength, endurance, and how you feel day-to-day. Celebrate small victories like improved range of motion, better sleep, or increased energy. Incorporate variety into your workouts to challenge your body in new ways, and don’t hesitate to seek expert advice for posture correction. Ultimately, gym gains come with patience and persistence, combined with smart training and lifestyle habits. Remember, it’s a journey unique to you, and any progress, big or small, is worth appreciating.
