Cream Cheese Banana Bread

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

8 oz cream cheese, softened

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, sour cream, vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing just until combined.

In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread the cream cheese over the batter, then top with the remaining batter.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
