Psychological Types Difference is the inner structure of the mind.

Ever... read a lot of psychological books, listen to a lot of personality explanations, but still feel like "it's not all me," like there's a part of us that can't be explained by the words "good, not good, open, or introverted."

Psychological Types (1921) - C.G. Jung is a book that does not try to label people, but tries to explain how humans perceive the world and make different decisions, and that the difference is not an anomaly, but an internal structure of the mind.

Interested in tangible things, present, real details.

The question in mind is, "What is it now?"

Intuition

Recognize through possibility

See the big picture, the trends, the future.

The question in mind is, "What can it become?"

Judgment function

Thinking

Judging by reason, structure, fairness.

Ask, "Does it make sense?"

Feeling

Judging by value, relationships, impact on people.

Ask, "Is it appropriate and meaningful?"

Jung stressed that Feeling is not emotional.

But it is a value-based judgment system.

Psychological Type = Structure, not Box

Each will have

• Main Function (Dominant)

• Secondary function

• Soft or hidden functions (Inferiors)

Such as

People who mainly use Thinking may avoid Feeling.

Not because it doesn't feel, but because it's not good.

And this weak function often emerges during stress, crisis or love.

Jung called it the "shadow" of personality.

What Jung wants to remind the most

The problem is not of any kind of personality.

But caused by "one use for life."

People who think very well may cut off from the heart.

People who understand others can lose their lives.

Mental growth is gradually learning functions that we are not good at.

Not to change yourself.

But to "complete yourself."

This book doesn't teach you who we are.

But teach me

• What kind of lens do we see the world through?

• Why do we often understand certain types of people?

• Many conflicts are not caused by habits, but by "different mental structures."

It opens up space for us to give up judging ourselves, "I was wrong."
