Solo adventures 1 (Part 2)
Back in March, I went to the Asian night market in Annandale. I went right after the grand opening of Dov & Co and met up with my family there. I didn't know what to expect, but it was honestly really fun!
Once we were all together, we decided to look around and check out the different vendors. Each vendor offered different stuff, some had homemade candles that were super cute! and others sold trinkets or blind boxes, and other goodies.
We then got hungry cause you could smell all the good food in the air. So we went to a vendor called Moe Kat. They sold these skewers that were *chefs kiss. So yummy! Then I saw a vendor called Monday is a fine day that sold Matcha lattes, and I tried my first strawberry matcha. 🍓 It was so good! ☺️
Next, my sisters and I tried these Baos, I didn't get the name of the place but they were good! We tried this pork one that had pineapple kimchi, another that was chicken miso flavored, and a spicy Korean bbq that had a really good gochujang sauce. My sister Emily really wanted a Tanghulu, and we tried these grape ones 🍇 so good! 😍 and not overbearingly sweet at all!
We then went back to the vendors that sold blind bags and I bought my first Sonny angel and Sylvanian family blind bag, both are so cute! My sister Dani really wanted a figure from this horse anime called Uma Musume, so she got the Rush hour one. 😅
Overall, we had a lot of fun! it did however get really crowded after a couple of hours as more and more people came but regardless I'd recommend going if you're in the dmv area! Just be patient as it does get packed and the lines can get a bit long. It's definitely worth it for the food and merch! and they'll be hosting a couple other ones throughout the year. ✨️
