Porch Tomatoes✨🍅
I am one step closer to being a master porch gardener -- Ive got a harvest of Heirloom and San Marzano tomatoes on the horizen!
Key lessons:
1. Cloth pots were super useful for ensuring my soil wasnt too moist and I avoided root rot.
2. I should have pruned them more. I have a lot of fruit but they steal nutrients from one another and Im curious how it will affect the taste.
3. Any cracks in the tomatoes appear from irregular watering. I did my best over a busy summer but if I was more consistent maybe i wouldnt have as many cracks... Oh well!
Does anyone have porch tomato tips for next year?
