New Gyukatsu Spot at One Holland Village

Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu One Holland Village

... Read moreIf you’re a fan of Japanese beef dishes, trying different cuts of gyukatsu can be quite the adventure. At One Holland Village, Gyukatsu Kyotokatsugyu offers five distinct beef cuts that let you explore various textures and flavors depending on your preference—from tenderloin to sirloin. What I personally enjoyed was the option to combine two different cuts in one set, allowing me to experience variety in one meal. The free-flow rice and the fresh cabbage add a perfect balance to the fried beef, and the variety of curated Japanese condiments enhances the flavor spectrum, letting each bite feel unique. Also, the sets are thoughtfully paired with miso soup, making the meal comforting and wholesome. Whether you prefer your beef crispy on the outside and pink in the middle or more cooked, the restaurant lets you tailor your experience. For anyone wondering about value, starting at around $25++, this spot provides generous portions with quality wagyu beef without the hefty price tag typically associated with specialty Japanese beef dishes. The atmosphere at the One Holland Village outlet is casual yet cozy, a great spot for casual dining or catching up with friends over a satisfying and flavorful Japanese meal. If you’re exploring other food options around Holland Village, this gyukatsu place is definitely worth including on your list.
