Microwave DOT CAKE 🍰

I was curious about the trend of making Dot cakes, so I decided to make it myself and make it easy!

You need:

10 or 12 oz bowl (cup etc)

4 tbsp of all purpose flour

2 tbps sugar

1/4 tsp baking powder

3 tbsp milk

1 tbsp vegetable oil or butter

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

First mix your dry ingredients and then add the liquids, mix very well and throw it in the microwave for about 1:30 min or 2 min depending on your microwave (i did 2 min) wait to cool down a bit and spread the buttercream, add the color dots on top and enjoy!!!

I will totally making this when I crave a cake but don't want to make a big one or buy one at the store!

Speaking of buttercream, using a pre-made option like Pillsbury's naturally and artificially flavored buttercream made decorating so much easier and added a deliciously rich taste. Adding colorful dots on top was not only visually appealing but also fun to make. For an extra twist, I experimented with adding a splash of vanilla extract to the batter for enhanced flavor. You can also try mixing in small chocolate chips or sprinkles into the batter before cooking for added texture.
