Progressive, is that you!?🫶✨

Before I get into the different meals, I wanted to clarify what kind of multiple sclerosis I was diagnosed with.

In the hospital, I was told that I had a lot of lesions on my brain and spinal cord so it was aggressive.

I was told by other people with Ms that there was no such thing as aggressive Ms, at least for a diagnosis. So, therefore it was ✨Progressive ✨.

I was only given medication for the lesions in my brain, however, that helps with my mood. I just call them my mood stabilizers ☺️ (without them I either cry or just get really mad and irrational).

... Read moreMultiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic illness that affects the central nervous system, leading to a range of physical and emotional challenges. Progressive MS can manifest in various subtypes like primary progressive and secondary progressive, with symptoms including fatigue, mobility issues, and cognitive changes. Managing MS often involves medication, but it's crucial to adopt a holistic approach that includes lifestyle adjustments, nutritional support, and physical activity. Many patients find that emotional well-being is just as important as physical health, underscoring the need for support systems. Engaging with online communities can provide valuable resources and emotional support for those living with MS. Conversations around mood and coping mechanisms are essential, as they help individuals feel understood and less isolated. If you're on a similar journey, know that finding the right treatments and support can make a significant difference in quality of life. Always consult medical professionals for tailored advice. Remember, it's okay to seek help and connect with others who share similar experiences.
