Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

When I read Matthew 28:19 from the NIV, it always hits me with such a profound sense of purpose. It's truly a "Verse of the Day" that can transform how we live our lives. The words, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," aren't just a suggestion; they're a direct command from Jesus Himself. For me, this isn't just an abstract theological concept, but a very real, personal call to action. I often think about what it practically means to "go." It doesn't always mean packing a suitcase and flying to a distant country, although that’s certainly part of it for many. For most of us, "going" begins right where we are – in our communities, workplaces, schools, and even online spaces. It means intentionally stepping out of our comfort zones to share the hope we have. It could be a conversation with a neighbor, an act of kindness that opens doors, or simply living out our faith in a way that makes others curious about #Jesus. Then there's the part about "make disciples of all nations." This is where it gets incredibly rich. Making disciples isn't just about getting someone to say a prayer; it's about walking alongside them, teaching them what Jesus commanded, and helping them grow into a mature follower of Christ. It's a lifelong journey of mentorship and spiritual growth. The phrase "all nations" reminds me that God's love isn't exclusive.
