Puerto Rico Hoodie

2025/1/9 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! So many of you loved my recent share of my Puerto Rico hoodie and Coqui hat, and I've been absolutely overwhelmed by the questions! It's truly become one of my favorite pieces. You asked about where I got it, the style, and of course, how much it was, so I wanted to dive a bit deeper and share all the details. First off, let's talk about the style. A lot of you mentioned 'Prisana Bay hoodies' in your comments, and while mine isn't explicitly branded as 'Prisana Bay,' I can totally see why you'd make that connection! The vibrant design, the comfortable fit, and that true Boricua spirit it embodies – it definitely gives off those high-quality, authentic vibes. I actually found my hoodie at a charming little boutique that specializes in Caribbean-inspired fashion. They have a fantastic selection of unique items that often reflect popular styles and motifs, so if you're looking for something similar to the 'Prisana Bay' aesthetic, I'd suggest checking out smaller, independent stores or online shops that focus on cultural apparel. Sometimes, you find the real gems there! Now, for the big question: 'how much is it?' I totally get wanting to know the price point! Quality Puerto Rico hoodies can range quite a bit. Mine was around $45, which I felt was a really fair price for the material and the beautiful print. I've seen similar ones online going anywhere from $30 to $70, depending on the brand, design complexity, and material. My best advice for finding a great deal is to compare prices across different platforms. Also, keep an eye out for sales, especially around cultural holidays or during off-seasons. Investing in a good quality hoodie means it'll last longer and keep that vibrant look. And let's not forget the adorable Coqui hat! The coqui frog is such an iconic symbol of Puerto Rico, and having it on a hat just completes the look. I love how it adds an extra touch of island pride. I paired this outfit with some simple jeans and sneakers for a casual, everyday look, but you could easily dress it up with some linen pants for a relaxed evening vibe. I even used CapCut to make a quick video showing off the details and how I styled it – it's such a fun app for sharing fashion snaps! Caring for these items is pretty straightforward too. To keep the colors bright, I always wash my hoodie inside out in cold water and air dry it. This helps prevent fading and keeps the print looking fresh. If you're passionate about showing your Boricua pride, a hoodie like this is a fantastic way to do it. It's comfortable, stylish, and carries a piece of culture with it. Happy styling, everyone!
