A job well done

One of the things I pride myself as an administrator is staff welfare.

Being able to provide for my fellow colleague based on their coping needs is important. And thankfully my colleague are snack motivated.

So with aufficient office budget, I always ensure that there’s enough snacks for all!!

How does your pantry snacks look like?

... Read moreFrom my experience as an administrator, I’ve found that small gestures like providing snacks can significantly improve the office atmosphere and staff motivation. It’s not just about keeping hunger at bay— it’s a way to show colleagues that their comfort matters. When the pantry is well-stocked, it encourages informal interactions, helping to build camaraderie and relieve stress during busy workdays. Maintaining a sufficient snack budget is key. Planning a variety of options—including healthy snacks alongside treats—ensures there’s something for everyone. I also try to keep popular choices readily available, observing what my team enjoys most. This personalized approach has helped strengthen the sense of community in our office. The messages I see in our common areas, like enthusiastic notes saying "LOVE" and "PERFECT!" remind me that these efforts are appreciated. It’s rewarding to know that such simple acts contribute to a positive work environment, helping everyone feel valued and supported. How do you cater to your team’s comfort during the workday? Sharing these small but meaningful practices can inspire others to create happier, more productive workplaces.

Be careful not to be delusional at work. People can change in an instant for their own benefits, and cast doubts on your work if they want to.
