Another key insight is to avoid comparing yourself to others or setting unrealistic expectations. Everyone's body reacts differently, and progress can be nonlinear. Tracking non-scale victories—like improved energy or mood—helps keep you encouraged. It's also essential to address the mental and emotional side of weight loss. Stress, self-doubt, and negative self-talk can create a cycle that impedes progress. Seeking support from friends, family, or professionals can provide accountability and boost confidence. Remember, breaking the cycle of being “tired” and feeling stuck requires patience, kindness towards yourself, and a focus on overall health rather than just the number on the scale. You don’t have to do it alone, and every small step forward counts.
