Check with your doctor with on medication. Taking potassium can mess with your bp levels. Also you should track your eating for a few days to see how much potassium you get daily.
About a month ago, I decided to supplement my potassium. I don't get enough and it's not possible for me to eat that much food daily without being sick and bloated. I have also been increasing my protein levels as well.
Even though I been battling allergies, sinus and a cold, I noticed the effect increasing my potassium has had on me. I feel stronger and more engertic.
My nails are slowly looking better. Also added Tea tree oil to my hand wash soap. So that is also helping my nails.
I don't have any diagnosised mental health issues. I have notice anxiety has lessen. Mentally I just felt stronger. This isnt solely because of increasing my potassium though.
You should try to get the majority of your potassium from food though if possible. I get some from liquid egg, bodyarmor/ghost drinks, Greens, protein shakes.
