RDI : 25grams for women
38grams for men
Prices: varies
Hemp protein $8 (walmart)
PB Protein $10 (walmart)
Beet powder $10 (walmart)
Benefiber $15 or (walmart brand $10)
Nutritional Yeast $7
I normally do 1 scoop a benefiber and 2 scoops Hemp with my protein shake in the morning. Benefiber is easier on my stomach.
Then add Psyllium husk powder when I get home or before bed(protein shake)
🛑 Eating fiber is the best way to get it daily. With the cost of food nowadays, supplementing can be helpful. Be sure to look up how much is safe to supplement daily.
Fiber can bloat you if you start dosing too high. Start with a small and and go from there.
****Lemon water can help with bloating
😮💨 Psyllium husk can make you feel bloated all day. Save it for when you are gonna be at the house until you get used to it, lol. It may be too scared to eat if you go out.
I have been working on improving my fiber intake over the last past couple of months.
Why am I improving my fiber?
- It may help improve cholesterol numbers( i will find out soon)
- It has changed the way food tastes to me. Food has much more flavor. Which can be a good or bad depending on what u eating.
My general anxiety ( not medically diagnosed anxiety) has been better.
*** B vitamins and practicing grounding techniques have also helped. I have been taking for a few months, and it helped with helps me deal with overthinking and ruminating( dealing with negative thoughts).
👨🏾🏫Vagus nerve massaging helps as well.
