Bang Bang Salmon
Recipe Below⬇️⬇️
6oz salmon filets(2-4 of them), skinless
Garlic and herb seasoning
paprika
olive oil
1/2 cup of mayo
1 tbs Sriracha
1 tbs honey
2 tbs sweet chili sauce
green onions
Place salmon on a parchment lined baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Season to taste with garlic and herb and paprika. Bake at 400 for 15min or until it flakes easily with a fork. To make sauce combine mayo, Sriracha, honey, and sweet chili sauce. Mix. When salmon is done drizzle with sauce and top with green onions. We had ours with an Asian chopped salad mix but it is also great with white rice.
Having tried various ways to cook salmon, this Bang Bang Salmon recipe stands out for its balance of flavors and ease of preparation. The combination of garlic and herb seasoning with paprika gives the salmon a delicious savory base. Baking at 400°F ensures the fish stays moist and flakes perfectly without overcooking. What truly elevates this dish is the sauce—a creamy mix of mayo, Sriracha, honey, and sweet chili sauce. The sweet heat pairs wonderfully with the mild salmon. I like to drizzle it generously before adding fresh green onions for a crisp texture and vibrant color. For sides, serving this salmon with a simple Asian chopped salad adds crunch and freshness that complements the rich sauce. Alternatively, white rice or even quinoa work well to soak up any extra sauce. This meal comes together quickly, making it great for busy weeknights while still impressing guests with its bold flavors. In my experience, using skinless salmon fillets makes the dish easier to prepare and eat, though you can also leave the skin on if preferred. Just adjust the cooking time slightly based on thickness. Overall, this Bang Bang Salmon offers a delightful, spicy twist on a classic protein that’s both nutritious and satisfying.
