Sealing is extracting wildfires. Multi-agency officials successfully mobilized fire control. Over 5,000 acres of Teng Rang forest were found damaged.
On February 13, 2026, the Green Water Palace Forest Fire Control Station, the 7th Conservation Area Administration (Nakhon Ratchasima) urgently deployed staff to support the operation, working together with the Forest Protection Unit at Milk III, the 8th Forest Resource Management Bureau (Nakhon Ratchasima), the Sangha, and various departments in the immediate area, to extinguish forest fires in the National Forest area, the area of the Environmental Research Station, the Sangha District, the Green Water Palace District, the Nakhon Ratchasima District, that burned over 5,000 acres.
The officers mobilized equipment and fire extraction tools to bring fire trucks into the area to accelerate the extraction of the fire line, control the intensity of the spread, and organize close surveillance of vulnerable areas to prevent repeated eruptions and protect key ecosystems.
From continuing to extinguish the fire until the evening of February 13, the authorities relied on a period of cold weather adjacent to the fire line to control the situation at 10: 00 p.m. and reported progress during this morning (February 14). Nearly 100% of the fires were controlled, no additional heating points (Hotspots) were found in the area, mobilizing officers from the Green Water Palace Forest Fire Control Station, Forest Fire Control Station over the Yard, Khao Yai Forest Fire Control Station and Phu Luang Forest Hunting Prohibition Zone 50, pinning ground power to extinguish smoke from tree stumps and remnants of wood, preventing repeated eruptions. In addition, the Forest Department undertook a thorough inspection and extinguishing of the fires in the section adjacent to the 304 road line.
And today will attend a meeting to assess the situation with the area owner's agency and the Nakhon Ratchasima Mon's troubleshooting center, as well as using a helicopter to reexamine the situation in the area.
