Our solemnisation at La Terrace @ Claudine!
If you're considering having your solemnisation here, here's everything we learnt!
We went with the 3-course menu (swipe to the last photo to see the menu 🍽️). One thing I really appreciated is that the venue allows you to customise individual meals for guests, Eg. vegetarian or doesn't eat raw food. Do take note the course menu prices remain the same.
Some useful info if you're planning:
🤍 Minimum spend: $5,000++
🤍 Venue rental: 9am–4pm (including setup & tear down time)
🤍 Capacity: Up to 30 guests, with 10 guests per table
One of the biggest reasons we chose La Terrace @ Claudine was because our dog could be part of our solemnisation 🐶🤍 We always knew we wanted him to be our ring bearer, and honestly, he was the main reason we decided on an outdoor ROM.
🐾 Only the outdoor terrace is pet-friendly.
🚫 Pets are strictly not allowed indoors.
He was such a good boy throughout the ceremony, and having him there made the day so much more meaningful 🥹❤️ (Your sign to have your dog as your ring bearer!!!)
For our outdoor solemnisation, we decided to DIY most of the styling. We sourced almost all our decorations and stationery (including our angbao box and DIY wedding vows 🥹) from Taobao, and spent around S$300 in total.
Instead of renting chairs from the venue (about S$400+ for 20 Tiffany chairs), we hired our own chair vendor and paid only S$145 for 25 Tiffany chairs. It saved us quite a bit, but just something to note:

❌ You'll need to coordinate with another vendor yourself
❌ Most external vendors don't offer refunds if it rains (depending on their policy)
One of the biggest blessings of the day was having our friends and family help us set everything up. They honestly made our vision come to life and it turned out exactly like something from Pinterest. 😭❤️ Forever grateful for every pair of helping hands.
The venue also provides:

🔊 A sound system that can be connected outdoors
One thing I wish was better though... there were only about 4 standing fans on the terrace. Personally, I didn't think it was enough for Singapore's heat and humidity (Ps, our solemnisation started at 10:45am and it was already hot HOT 🥵)
Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. It was intimate, relaxed, and having our closest family, friends, and our little ring bearer there made it everything we had hoped for 🥹🤍
