New Smell Goods Part 67
Im a couple of weeks late but here’s some reviews of the new fragrances I picked up during and after the Sephora and Ulta sale.
I haven’t decided if I want to upgrade sunset tamarindo and sugar addict now or if I want to wait.
Picking fragrances during sales at Sephora and Ulta can be really exciting but also overwhelming with so many choices. From my experience, the scent Avanilla stands out as a sweet and floral vanilla that’s very versatile, making it great for fresh and warm days alike. It’s a ‘blind buy safe’ choice if you love soft creamy vanilla tones. Philosophy’s Silk Cloud is another favorite for me because it captures comfort in a bottle. It combines elements like chantilly accord, jasmine, and vanilla creating a smooth and light scent reminiscent of soft drifting clouds—very soothing for everyday wear. Phlur Honey Moon surprised me with its fresh honey note balanced with mandarin and lavender on top. It’s fruity and floral without being overpowering, which makes it an ideal choice for spring and summer outings. I found its long-lasting fragrance impressive. Kylie Jenner’s Cosmic Intense is a powerful scent for those who appreciate something more intense yet not overwhelming. The jasmine and blood orange notes paired with amber and vanilla give it a warm, slightly sweet character. I've enjoyed wearing it all day without needing to reapply. Finally, Sugar Addict is a warm and spicy vanilla scent perfect for cooler seasons. It has key elements like sugar, cocoa, and tonka that create a sweet gourmand experience. I am considering upgrading to a larger bottle before fall because of how comforting it feels during chilly weather. Sunset Tamarindo, with its tropical mango, papaya, and vanilla notes, evokes a vacation vibe with hints of coconut. This fruity floral fragrance makes me imagine relaxing on a Bahamian island. Even though I haven’t fully decided to upgrade, it remains a favorite for warm weather. If you’re on the fence about buying or upgrading to these scents, I recommend testing them during cooler or warmer days to see how they react with your skin chemistry. Sales are a great time but trusting your everyday preferences and seasonality often leads to the best long-term fragrance choices.
