Classic Chicken Parmesan Recipe
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts (butterflied & pounded thin)
1 cup breadcrumbs
½ cup grated parmesan
1 cup flour
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded or fresh slices)
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs + parmesan.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, pan-fry chicken until golden on both sides.
Place chicken on baking sheet, spoon marinara over top, and sprinkle mozzarella.
Bake 12–15 mins until cheese melts and chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve with pasta or salad.
