STOP PARTICIPATING
There’s an old saying “Comparison is the thief of joy” and it is. The reason you feel so bad about yourself is because you are living in a system where you WILL never be good enough. This is why you need to stop participating. People think I am naive because I gave up. Capitalism breeds narcissism and here’s why… when you are always thinking about yourself instead of others… you will always be unworthy. You’re avoiding the real work of sitting with your demons and conquering them. Here’s how you can stop participating and get your mental health back:
1.) Realize that you only have ONE life. It is working your right to fulfill all your hearts desires.
2.) Get back to nature. Go to the park and sit under a tree. Sit with yourself, by yourself so you can remember who you were before the world sculpted you.
3.) Quit thinking you need the next best thing. Learn to love what you already have.
Give up the fight. You don’t need a partner to feel worthy, you don’t need the best clothes to feel beautiful. What you need is inspiration to live your life. Where has your spark gone?
