I’ve attended similar events before, and what truly stands out is the diversity of experiences—from savoring multicultural cuisines to enjoying inclusive family activities and even kids’ movies under the summer sky. The festival setting creates a warm community feel that brings people together, celebrating heritage and music simultaneously. One highlight is the free admission, which encourages a wide audience to come together without barriers. The festival runs from 3 PM to 11 PM, giving plenty of time to soak in the live concerts, explore food stalls, and connect with fellow fans. Being at Ajax’s Alexander’s Crossing during this event is also a wonderful getaway within the GTA, allowing a local escape filled with great entertainment and cultural appreciation. If you plan to attend, I recommend tagging a concert buddy to share the experience and ensuring you arrive early to enjoy all the festival offers. Who used to make bookmarks out of glue and a pencil case when they were younger?? This is JUST as satisfying and you get a cute little decor thing out of it. Grab a piece of plastic (I used a laminated sheet or plastic) and some glue. Drizzle your little designs on there then set them somewhere
