Selain daging lembu, anda juga boleh cuba menggunakan daging ayam belanda (turkey) untuk pilihan yang lebih sihat dan rendah lemak. Meatballs turkey dengan Boursin menghasilkan gabungan rasa yang hebat dan sesuai untuk keluarga yang mengutamakan makanan berkhasiat. Untuk memudahkan proses memasak, anda boleh menyediakan meatballs dalam jumlah banyak dan simpan dalam peti sejuk atau peti beku. Bila mahu makan, cuma keluarkan dan masak bersama sos krim Boursin serta spaghetti yang telah direbus. Saya juga suka menambah sedikit herba segar seperti basil atau parsley untuk aroma yang lebih harum. Tips lain ialah jangan terlalu masak meatballs supaya ia kekal lembut dan berjus. Gunakan api sederhana rendah ketika memasak dalam sos krim supaya rasa keju Boursin tidak hilang dan kekal lemak berkrim. Hidangan ini juga mudah dimodifikasi dengan menambah sayur-sayuran seperti cendawan atau lada benggala untuk lebih variasi dan khasiat.
