2 smoked ham hocks

1/2 Onion chopped

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, season all season to taste, I measure with my heart

Put ham hocks in crockpot with water. Cook on high for approximately 3 hours on high. You can debone the ham hock before adding beans if you want. Wash and sort beans. Add beans, onions and seasonings to crockpot and cook on high for a additional 3-4 hours. Once beans are soft they are ready. Serve with cornbread
