Been consistent 3 months with new diet & gym 💪🏾

... Read moreHey everyone! I'm so thrilled to share my personal journey of achieving a significant body transformation in just three months. When I started, my main goal was to 'Get Em Back' – to reclaim my energy, strength, and overall fitness level that I felt I’d lost. This wasn't just about looking good for a #summerbod, but truly feeling strong and healthy. It's been a ride of consistent #workout sessions and a completely new approach to my diet, and I truly believe anyone can do it with dedication. My 'New Diet' Breakdown: For three months, I focused on a sustainable eating plan rather than restrictive fads. My strategy revolved around a slight calorie deficit, prioritizing protein intake to support muscle growth, and incorporating plenty of whole foods. I cut back significantly on processed snacks, sugary drinks, and excessive fried foods. Meal prepping became my best friend! Every Sunday, I'd prepare healthy lunches and dinners for the week, which saved me time and prevented impulse unhealthy choices. Hydration was also key; I aimed for at least 3 liters of water daily, which surprisingly helped with energy levels and reduced unnecessary snacking. My Consistent Gym Routine: My gym schedule was pretty structured, hitting the weights 4-5 times a week, combined with 2-3 sessions of cardio. I focused on progressive overload in my strength training, meaning I gradually increased the weight or reps over time. For instance, every Tuesday, I made sure to hit the gym hard for my leg and glute session. It became my 'TUESDAY' power day, a non-negotiable part of my routine that really helped me build lower body strength and shape. I incorporated compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and lunges, complemented by isolation exercises. Cardio was a mix of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and steady-state, helping me burn fat and improve endurance. Consistency truly is the secret ingredient here; even on days I didn't feel like going, I reminded myself of my 'Get Em Back' goal and pushed through. Staying Motivated and Overcoming Hurdles: Let’s be real, staying consistent for three months isn't always easy. There were days I felt tired, unmotivated, or even hit a plateau. What helped me immensely was tracking my progress – not just on the scale, but also through photos, measurements, and how my clothes fit. Seeing those small changes, even when the scale didn't move, kept me going. I also found an accountability partner, which made a huge difference. On days I struggled with cravings, I allowed myself small, controlled treats rather than completely depriving myself, which prevented me from feeling restricted and giving up altogether. Rest and recovery were just as important as the workouts. I aimed for 7-8 hours of sleep each night, which significantly improved my energy and performance. What I Learned & My Advice: This 3-month journey taught me that a #bodytransformation is more than just physical; it's a mental game of discipline and self-belief. If you're looking to start your own transformation, my biggest advice is to set realistic goals, find a routine you enjoy (or can at least stick to), and be patient with yourself. Celebrate small victories, learn from setbacks, and remember why you started. It's truly amazing what you can achieve in just three months with a consistent #diet and #gym routine. You got this!
