I’m slowly starting to forget…
Forgetting is often viewed negatively, but in my own experience, it can be part of a natural process of growth and transformation. As we move through life, certain memories and facts that once defined us may fade, allowing space for new perspectives and identities to emerge. I have found that embracing this change, rather than resisting it, helps me understand myself better and live more authentically. When I noticed myself slowly forgetting particular facts, it dawned on me that it was not about losing information but about shedding parts of my past that no longer serve my current self. The hashtags like #identity and #bewhoyouare resonate deeply because the journey of forgetting is closely linked to rediscovery. Being unfiltered and honest with ourselves lets us accept who we are today and who we want to become tomorrow. Incorporating this mindset into daily life has helped me cope with change and find confidence in my evolving identity. It's important to recognize that forgetting is not about erasing the past but making room for growth. Sharing this experience with others has connected me with a community that values authenticity and personal evolution, proving that we all have the power to redefine ourselves whenever we choose.
