Budget Travel Tips for Santorini, Greece 🤑🇬🇷

1. Stay in Fira, not Oia!

While Oia is more famous, I personally found Fira to be a hidden gem. It’s just as beautiful, cleaner, less crowded, and much more affordable!

2. Book excursions in person.

Skip the pricey online platforms. Take a day to explore the city, chat with locals, and you’ll find way better deals for excursions!

3. Shop lower down the hills. The further down you go, the cheaper the prices get! Pro tip: head away from the main touristy spots for the best bargains.

4. Use public transportation! It’s super cheap and easy to get around Santorini. Forget pricey taxis – the bus system is your friend.

5. Stock up at Sklavenitis Supermarket. If you need water or groceries, Sklavenitis is your go-to. It’s way cheaper than the little shops around town!

Enjoy your trip and save some cash while you’re at it!
