Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough Bread
I wanted the swirls to be more, but it's okay still tasted good with a little butter. I was told these make monster french toast 🍞
Ingredients:
4 cups of flour
1.5 cups of warm water
1/2 cup of starter
0. 5 tsp of salt
2 tbsp +1 tsp of soft butter
1/3 light brown sugar
1.5 tsp of cinnamon
Steps:
Mix flour + water +starter and rest for 30 minutes
Add in salt +butter knead till smooth
Ferment for 4 hours
Gently stretch into a rectangle on a flour counter
Add the brown sugar + cinnamon mixture
Roll into a log and put in the pan, then wait another 2 hours
Bake at 375° for 38 minutes (can be longer to 40 minutes depending on the pan)
Let the loaf cool before cutting and then enjoy!
