You’re functioning but not actually living ⚠️

Survival mode looks like functioning, not living.

You made it through the holidays.

You're showing up. Keeping it together.

From the outside, everything looks fine. You're starting the new year ready to go. But inside?

You're numb. Disconnected. Running on autopilot.

Here's what most people miss as they set their January intentions: survival mode doesn't always look like falling apart.

Sometimes it looks like perfectionism.

Sometimes it looks like relentless productivity.

Sometimes it looks like being the strong one who held everyone together through another holiday season.

But functioning isn't the same as thriving. And checking all the boxes on your New Year goals list isn't the same as being truly present in your body and your life.

The gap between doing and feeling is where disconnection lives.

You can't think your way back into aliveness—you have to move, breathe, and feel your way back.

That's the difference between surviving and embodying.
