How do people deal with “the ick”?

I don't think I've ever experienced the ick, but here have been a few times where some cringe flashes through my mind. Then I usually realize that I'm being an absolute idiot.

But! How do people deal with it if it finally happens? Do you just move on? Or do you try to focus the positive?

Also, I'd love to hear what has given people the ick about their male/men partners to see if my experience is matching up or if I'm seeing red flags that I'm pretending are the ick.

I think it’s just an updated version of cringe? Google or visit the ‘gum wall’ in Seattle - if that doesn’t give you the ick nothing will 😂
