Ruler Quilting Class!
I started my first Ruler Quilting Class today. It’s an on demad class from Silly Moon Quilting Co
called “Beginner Ruler Work”.
Hey, that was fun! I don’t feel like I got very far but that’s ok. I did what I had time for.
It went pretty well, one of the only problems I had was when I went backwards my thread
shredded. So… I decided to turn my piece and keep practicing instead of getting frustrated with
rethreading my machine each time it happened. One of the other issues will work itself out with
time & practice. My stitch spaceing.
I’ve reminded myself that when I was learning how to make wire woven jewelry it took 6 months
to have anything I’d made that was wearable. I didn’t let it beat me and I mastered it. So, I’m a
confident beginner and it’s day one.
