My Birth Story 🫶👶🏻✨

This is the story of welcoming my second child into the world. During my second pregnancy, I gained 20kg. In the third month, a blood test revealed that my baby exhibited signs of Down syndrome.

Received this news weighed heavily on my heart, evoking a mix of fear, confusion. My husband and I dedicated numerous hours to research, consultations with specialists, and deliberations on our choices. We aimed to be well-informed and ready to provide the best possible care for our baby, regardless of the circumstances.

Ultimately, we chose to welcome our child into this world 🌎

Due to my previous cesarean section delivery, I opted for the same procedure this time. Giving birth in Vietnam, I found the hospital and services to be excellent. I was admitted one day before my due date for necessary tests.

🎊At 8 am, my daughter came into the world... At that moment, tears flowed freely. Throughout more than 38 weeks, I had carried the weight of worry about my daughter's future... But now, it feels like a burden lifted. She weighed 3.3 kg at birth, and I affectionately named her Sushi at home, a nod to my craving during pregnancy.

My daughter arrived just three days after my birthday, bringing immense joy as both mother and child share the same birth month 🎊🎉

Now, 8 years later, Sushi has blossomed into a vibrant and inquisitive young girl, brimming with vitality and laughter. Her presence has been a constant source of inspiration and happiness for our family.

😊Through this journey, I learned the importance of research, making informed decisions, and hoping for the best with come.
