A really enjoyable vanilla coffee scent with floral notes. I was scared to buy it as it only comes in the bigger size due to people saying it smelled like grape soda. I couldn’t disagree more and I actually think it’s the perfect rich floral coffee fragrance.
It’s strong at first but disappeared quite quickly after a few hours which was disappointing.

I love this fragrance so much. It’s a mature deep yet sweet scent that does not feel medicinal at all. Only con is that it isn’t long lasting and you have to layer smartly in order to smell it all day.
... Read moreWhen I first heard about Sabrina Carpenter's ME ESPRESSO, the notes immediately piqued my interest. Espresso, cocoa powder, jasmine, vanilla orchid, caramel, sugared amber, and whipped cream? It sounded like a dream, a true 'floral vanilla coffee scent' that promised warmth and sweetness. What truly stood out to me upon first spray was the beautiful dance between the rich, dark coffee notes and the creamy, gourmand elements. The espresso isn't bitter or overpowering; instead, it's smoothly blended with the cocoa powder, giving it a cozy, almost chocolatey depth. Then, the jasmine and vanilla orchid peek through, adding an elegant floral lift that stops it from becoming purely edible. It's a sophisticated take on a coffee fragrance, definitely not your average coffee shop scent.
One thing I noticed, which the original review also touched on, was the longevity. While the initial projection is strong and captivating, I did find it faded quicker than I'd hoped. My personal hack for making ME ESPRESSO last longer is layering! I often start with a vanilla-scented body lotion or oil on my pulse points before applying the perfume. You could also try a neutral, long-lasting amber or musk fragrance as a base. This really helps to anchor the scent and extend that beautiful blend of notes throughout the day. For evening wear, I sometimes top it with a tiny spritz of a darker, woodier vanilla to give it even more presence.
There's been a lot of chatter online about some people perceiving a 'grape soda' note in ME ESPRESSO, and I was genuinely scared about this before trying it myself. However, I couldn't disagree more with that comparison. For me, there's absolutely no grape in sight! I think perhaps the combination of some sweet, fruity-leaning amber or sugared notes, combined with the floral aspects, might give some noses that impression. But personally, I experience it as a perfectly balanced, rich floral coffee fragrance with a delightful creamy finish. It’s certainly not a fruity scent in my book, and anyone worried about that grape note can likely rest easy.
Beyond ME ESPRESSO, the Sweet Tooth line also features Cherry Baby, which comes in a lovely reddish-brown perfume bottle. The OCR also picked up an additional note of musk for Cherry Baby, which wasn't initially listed in the article, but definitely adds to its character. This one is a gorgeous, mature deep cherry scent, quite different from the coffee vibe. The cherries are rich and luscious, not overly candied, blended beautifully with chocolate and red poppy for a sophisticated twist. If you're exploring the Sweet Tooth collection, these two offer distinctly different, yet equally captivating, scent journeys that are definitely worth experiencing for yourself!
