How I grew my long natural hair
Whew Chile ! My natural hair journey was A lot of ups and downs . I was a relaxer girlie most of my life , and once I became the age where I could style my own hair that’s when the damage began. I went from wash and sets bi-weekly , to relaxers and then added color ! You can imagine the damage caused ! My hair was dry thin and started breaking . I decided to make an impulsive decision and I cut all my hair off and started from the beginning! A lot of trial and error but I began researching , came up with a consistent routine and incorporated scalp massages and then created my own hair growth oil that has helped many others .

Transitioning from relaxed and colored hair to natural hair growth can be a challenging but rewarding journey. Many people experience dryness, thinning, and breakage when using chemical treatments like relaxers and hair dyes, as these processes weaken the hair strands and scalp health. Cutting off damaged hair to start fresh is a brave and effective step, allowing new growth to thrive without further harm. Establishing a consistent hair care routine is key. This includes gentle cleansing, deep conditioning, and avoiding heat styling that can exacerbate breakage. Scalp massages play a vital role too—they stimulate blood circulation to hair follicles, promoting healthier growth and reducing tension in the scalp. Using natural oils made with ingredients like castor oil, peppermint oil, and rosemary can nourish the scalp and strengthen hair roots. Documenting your hair journey, sharing tips, and creating personalized hair growth products based on research and trial can empower others facing similar struggles. Engaging in supportive communities, both on social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube, offers motivation and practical advice that make the natural hair journey more manageable and enjoyable. Remember, hair growth takes time, patience, and care. Avoid rushing the process, embrace your hair’s natural texture, and stay consistent with your routine. Incorporate protective styles that minimize manipulation, and always prioritize scalp health to maintain a strong foundation for long, natural hair.
