Lea Salonga in Concert (Singapore 2026)

22 Mar 2026, 2pm | Lea Salonga: Stage, Screen & Everything in Between 🚁🇫🇷🧞‍♂️🌸

Still in awe after seeing Disney legend and Broadway royalty, Lea Salonga, at Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, Singapore. Her first solo concert in Singapore in over a decade! ❤️✨

I’ve been lucky to have seen her many years ago in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (2009) and more recently in Sweeney Todd (2019) during the Singapore seasons. But hearing her sing her greatest hits live, back-to-back, was such a nostalgic whiplash — from Miss Saigon and Les Misérables to Aladdin and Mulan. 🎶

Huge love to Nigel Huckle and Sarah Galbraith for their stunning duets and flawless backing vocals. Massive kudos to the band and the string ensemble of the Singapore Lyric Opera Chamber Orchestra, led wonderfully by Maestro Gerard Salonga. 👏👏👏

If you don’t already know, Lea will be playing Madame Thénardier in the Singapore run of Les Misérables at Sands Theatre starting tonight. I’ve already bought my tickets and can’t wait to watch her again this weekend!

... Read moreAttending Lea Salonga's concert at the Esplanade was truly an unforgettable experience that any fan of musical theatre would cherish. Beyond her incredible vocal prowess and emotive storytelling on stage, the concert showcased the impressive collaboration with talented artists like Nigel Huckle and Sarah Galbraith, whose duets and harmonies perfectly complemented Lea’s performance. The musical accompaniment by the Singapore Lyric Opera Chamber Orchestra under Maestro Gerard Salonga added a lush, orchestral depth that heightened every number. It was inspiring to see such seamless synergy between the artists and musicians, creating a concert that felt both intimate and grand. For those excited about Lea’s role as Madame Thénardier in the 2026 Singapore run of Les Misérables, the concert offers a heartfelt preview of the energy and versatility she brings to the stage. If you have the chance, don’t miss her performance at Sands Theatre—it’s a brilliant continuation of her extraordinary career. Planning to attend? Booking your tickets early is essential as this highly anticipated event promises to sell out fast. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to her work, Lea Salonga’s 2026 Singapore concerts are more than just a show—they’re an emotional journey through some of the most beloved stories in musical theatre. Come ready to be moved, inspired, and thoroughly entertained.
