What I eat in a day
Here is an idea of what I eat in a a day for fat loss tailored to my fitness goals . They are what I like to call them " simple but effective" meals , of course leaving room for " fun food" or cheat meals once in awhile because balance is key 🔑
Here are 10 tips that helped me :
1) focus on high-protein meals , ensure that every meal has some source of protein ( shrimp , beef , chicken , salmon etc. )
2) Aim to eat 3-5 times a day , every 2-3 hours - this KEY to speed up your metabolism .
3) Focus on getting enough water intake to flush out any toxins in your body , as well as helps you stay fuller ) 4) Move your body , go on a 30 minute jog or walk . Whatever fits your schedule .
4) " Fun foods" or cheat meals , you can have it in moderation . I like to have my cheat meal once a week on my leg/glute days or before my leg day. I also aim to eat my cheat meal around Noon but never before my leg workout always AFTER . If you eat your cheat meal before your workout , you will feel sluggish and you won't be able to fully exercise .
5) SEASON YOUR FOODS! your foods do not have to be boring or " simple " . Unless you are like me who is lazy and don't care for simple foods then go for it😂 but it can get boring after a while. Don't be afraid to season your foods but watch out for them calories .
6) ROMANTICIZE YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY, invest in cute gym attire or accessories . Do your hair , if you want to workout with a full on make up on do it, whatever helps you get to the gym 💪🏽🤍
7) Create a fun playlist to get you hyped ❣️
8) Cardio After weight trainings is KEY for weightloss/fat loss .
9) Avoid processed foods and sugary drinks . If you don't like water - get you a MIO and add flavor to your water .
10) Plan , Plan and Plan . This goes with your gym exercises for the week as well as your meals . Planning and routine will save you time and money 🤍 You don't have to meal prep for a week , start small - meal prep for three days then switch up your meals . #wellness #fatlosstips #transformationjourney #gym
