The blend of pineapple juice and lemon provides a tangy, vitamin-rich base, while orange juice adds a natural sweetness and plenty of vitamin C. Adding a small piece of fresh ginger does more than give it a zing—it introduces powerful anti-inflammatory compounds like gingerol, known to help reduce muscle pain and soreness. To boost its benefits, I've tried adding turmeric and black pepper to this juice. Turmeric contains curcumin, an active ingredient famous for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, but it's poorly absorbed alone. Black pepper helps enhance curcumin absorption, making this combo a powerhouse for reducing inflammation and supporting overall immunity. On days when I prefer a little sweetness, I toss in some strawberries or apple, which also enrich the juice with fiber and antioxidants. If spice is your thing, a pinch of cayenne pepper adds a warming kick and may aid metabolism. I usually mix 1/2 cup pineapple juice, juice of 1/2 lemon, 1/4 cup orange juice, a small piece of fresh grated ginger, and about 1/2 cup to 1 cup of water, then blend with ice for a cool beverage. This juice is also hydrating thanks to the water and ice, aiding detoxification and skin health. Overall, this juice recipe is a convenient, tasty way to incorporate anti-inflammatory ingredients into your daily routine, helping support joint health, reduce inflammation, and boost energy naturally.
