CHEESY PULL APART DINNER ROLLS using my @Ninja Kitchen Crispi Pro 🤩🍞 #NinjaPartner #NinjaCrispi #CrispiSupperClub
I’ve actually never been this excited about an air fryer—I think my favorite part is that it’s glass 🙌 Which means it’s non-toxic, you can use the base for food storage, PLUS you get to see your food cooking which I think is so cool + handy. Oh and it’s an appliance that actually looks nice sitting on your countertop ✨
Fluffy Garlic Butter Dinner Rolls
1 cup warm milk
2¼ tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp granulated sugar
¼ cup + 2 tbsp melted butter, plus more for pan
1 large egg, at room temperature
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp salt
2 cups shredded low moisture mozzarella
Garlic butter: 1/2 cup butter, 5 crushed garlic cloves, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the warm milk, instant yeast, and brown sugar. Whisk in the butter and egg until smooth. Mix in the flour and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
Transfer this to a clean surface and knead until smooth. Transfer the dough ball back to the bowl, cover with a clean dish towel, and place somewhere warm for 1-2 hours, or until the dough has fully doubled in size.
Transfer the dough to a clean surface. Cut it evenly into 12 equal sized pieces. Roll them until they’re smooth, and then arrange in the glass base of the Ninja Crispi Pro (make sure you use the grill tray that comes with for even baking) Pop this into the Ninja Crispi Pro and use the proof function.
Once the rolls are done proofing, sprinkle with the shredded mozz (make sure it gets between the rolls) and brush with garlic butter.
Using the bake function, cook for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on top. Serve with more garlic butter & enjoy!
If you love baking but want a convenient, efficient method that still delivers delicious results, the Ninja Kitchen Crispi Pro is a game-changer. The glass base lets you watch your cheesy pull apart rolls rise and bake, ensuring you get the perfect golden crust every time. I found that using the proof function accelerates the dough rising and creates fluffier rolls without the hassle of traditional oven timings. Plus, the bake function at 325°F for 18-20 minutes crisps the tops beautifully while keeping the inside soft and cheesy. One personal tip is to make sure the shredded mozzarella is generously sprinkled not just on top but also between the rolls before baking. This way, when you pull apart the rolls, you get gooey, cheesy layers that enhance every bite. Also, brushing the rolls with garlic butter before baking imparts a rich, savory flavor and keeps the crust from drying out. This recipe is fantastic for family dinners or as a treat for guests because it’s simple and impressive. Storing the glass base after baking is handy too—it doubles as a food storage container, keeping your rolls fresh longer without transferring to another dish. In my experience, the Ninja Kitchen Crispi is not just an air fryer; its multifunctionality simplifies meal prep and kitchen storage. The non-toxic glass container is reassuring from a health perspective, and the modern design looks sleek on the countertop, adding to kitchen aesthetics. For anyone new to baking with an air fryer, start with the proof and bake settings mentioned here and stick closely to temperature and times to get best results. Experiment with adding herbs or different cheeses in the future to create your own variations on this indulgent, crowd-pleasing recipe.
