Hot Take: Skip Greece This Summer, Go Here Instead

Albania might not necessarily be on your bucket list, but it should be! It’s such an underrated country to visit and here are 4 places to add as you plan your trip:

1. Shala River Trip - this place is a dream and a true hidden gem. Take a boat ride from Komani Lake into this paradise and enjoy the clearest and bluest water I’ve ever seen in a river! Breathtaking.

2. Southern Albania - aka the Albanian Riviera! Enjoy blue waters and beach vibes in the Albanian Riviera, a secret kept by a lot of Europeans, and for good reason! Get the riviera experience for a fraction of the cost!

3. Berat - what a charming little town! Take a step back in time and explore the Berat Castle, Byzantine churches, and wander around the alleyways of this unique city!

4. Tirana - this city is filled with the cutest coffee shops, bars, and restaurants, each with a unique vibe. I wish we spent more time here just exploring each one!
