HOW TO KNOW HOW PEOPLE FEEL ABOUT YOU
From my experience, one of the most honest ways to gauge how someone truly feels about you is by noticing how they treat you on special days—those moments that hold significant personal value, such as birthdays, graduations, or weddings. It's easy for people to be polite or friendly in everyday situations, but their real feelings often show when it comes to celebrating your important milestones. I've noticed that the people who genuinely care about you make an effort to be present for these special occasions, regardless of how busy or complicated their lives might be. It’s less about grand gestures and more about the intention and effort to connect and celebrate your highs and meaningful moments. Even a simple message or call on your birthday can reflect true affection. On the other hand, when someone becomes distant or 'weird' around these key days, it can be a sign they may not feel as close to you as you might hope. It’s not about keeping score but recognizing patterns of presence and absence. Over the years, I’ve learned that people who matter will show up in ways that matter. This insight has helped me prioritize relationships where mutual care is evident. It also taught me to communicate openly about what these days mean to me, ensuring that the people I value know they are appreciated. After all, genuine connections thrive on mutual respect and effort, especially during the moments that are special to us.
