I usually show you my empties, expired or decluttered products once a month and I forgot for April, so here it is:
EMPTIES:
I emptied the @nyxcosmetics_canada Fat Oil and I don't know the shade as it rubbed off. This was my purse lip product. I liked it. It did the job!
The two @clinique products. The moisturizer is fine. It's the concealer! I loved it. It's matte and doesn't need to be set with powder. It didn't move around. Buildable. Medium to full coverage. It should be talked about more.
The @livingproofinc Heat Styling Spray I already repurchased.
The @marcjacobsbeauty (by the way they are back at Sephora!!!!!) Is the best ever brown eyeliner in the history of brown eyeliners. Unfortunately discontinued. I purchased a tone of back ups and I only have one left 😭😭😭😭

EXPIRED:
My @maccosmeticscanada lipstick in mocha expired and now smells like old crayons. I purchased it in 2020.
And my @urbandecaycosmetics in Whiskey also expired. I would say I had it a good 5 years.
And my last product @meltcosmetics lipstick in pink noise well the component broke. I transfered the lipstick into a container.

I’ve already repurchased it because once you find a product that works, it’s worth sticking with it. Lastly, decluttering isn’t just about tossing items. For instance, when the lipstick component broke for my Melt Cosmetics lip product, transferring it into a container allowed me to still use it without waste. Small hacks like this help reduce unnecessary product waste. Overall, monthly empties posts are my way of keeping my beauty routine fresh and effective and a fun way to connect with others who love makeup as much as I do. If you’re looking to start decluttering your kit, I recommend keeping a little journal or a monthly list to track what you actually finish or throw out. It’s motivating and surprisingly eye-opening!
