🌾 Stir the Pot Challenge: Homestead Pantry Edition
🌾 Stir the Pot Challenge: Homestead Pantry Edition
Normal people buy box mixes.
Homesteaders make ALL the mixes from scratch. 😉
This week I stocked my from-scratch pantry with every homemade dry mix people usually toss in their cart:
🥞 DIY pancake mix
🧁 Homemade muffin mix
🍪 Cookie + brownie mix
🍫 Chocolate + vanilla cake mix
🧂 Clean-ingredient bouillon powder
🍜 Ramen seasoning mix
🥣 Cream-of-anything soup mix
🍞 Bread mix
🧀 Mac & cheese powder mix
🍝 Alfredo + white sauce mix
🌮 Taco seasoning + fajita seasoning
🍗 Chicken breading mix
🥔 Instant mashed potato mix
🍚 Rice seasoning blends
🥨 Pretzel/bagel dough mix
🍕 Pizza dough mix
🥤 Homemade hot cocoa mix
🍯 DIY ranch, onion soup, & dip mixes
🍲 Slow cooker meal mixes (dump-in jar)
🍪 Oatmeal packet mixes
🍳 Egg bite seasoning blends
If it comes in a box, bag, or packet… I’m probably making a homemade version with clean ingredients and storing it in jars like a tiny prairie grocery store. ✨

1. can you make a post for each one on how to assemble them, with how much you can make at once and how long they last stored. 2. Can you, please, post the assembly for each of the items you list next to the images? I am pretty sure that, if I were making a cake and making pudding with the same mix I'm going to need a little different assembly/cooking processes.
